Rotary Screens

Distington India offers high-performance Rotary Screens designed for efficient solid-liquid separation in water and wastewater treatment applications. These rotating drum or disc-type screens effectively remove fine suspended solids, protecting downstream treatment units and ensuring smooth plant operations.

The working principle involves water or wastewater flowing through a rotating cylindrical or flat screen surface. As the screen rotates, solids are captured on the mesh, while clean water passes through. The trapped solids are then discharged using a scraper or backwash spray system.

We manufacture internal feed, external feed, and center feed rotary drum screens in various mesh sizes to suit different applications, including sewage treatment plants (STP), effluent treatment plants (ETP), industrial process water systems, and food processing industries.
